My Story: From TBI to Transformation

I was an athlete my entire life. Fitness meant performance — until everything stopped.

My junior year of high school, a second-impact concussion left me with a traumatic brain injury. I couldn’t play sports, attend school, or even be in normal light. But in that season of stillness, God met me.

Through gentle movement and worship, He rebuilt what was broken — teaching me that exercise could be an act of worship, not identity. That healing sparked what would become Worship’n’Workout: a ministry built on faith, movement, and redemption.

Now, I help women all over the world experience that same renewal — through personalized coaching, faith-based community, and sustainable habits that honor both body and soul.

Meet Coach Macy

Hi, I’m Macy Gerig — Christian Trainer, Author, and Founder of Worship’n’Workout.

After experiencing a traumatic brain injury in high school, I learned what it truly means to rebuild health with purpose. Now, I help women across the country find balance in fitness, nutrition, and faith. My passion is helping women love fitness, not fear it, and teaching them how to build lasting health habits rooted in truth, sustained by grace, and centered on Christ.
